Audited accounts financial Statements 2010-2011
August, 2011
Dear Friend,
Assalamu 'alaikum,
The genesis of Charity Alliance in early 2005 was out of the
necessity to do something urgently about the starvation deaths in the
Jalangi area of Murshidabad, West Bengal. Since then our work in that
particular area of Murshidabad continues without any break with the
support of people like you, alhamdulillah. We have been
distributing ration every week to about 150 families and offering
medical aid to them as well. Each year we have been paying the fees
and buying books for about 100 students there. In 2008, we also
started a Vocational Training Centre there teaching tailoring and
zari embroidery to begin with. In May 2009, Alhamdulillah, we set up
Alliance School near Jalangi in Murshidabad.
Apart from Murshidabad, which remains our main focus, we also offer
financial help on a smaller scale to poor students and individuals for
education and medical help in Delhi. Please see report published in the latest
issue of
The Milli Gazette (16-31 August 2010, p.
17).
For our annual reports and audited financial
statements, click here.
The current monthly outlay on these activities in
Murshidabad is around Rs 60000, i.e., an annual outlay of Rs 720,000 which
will only increase every year as the school opens a new classroom each
year necessitating the recruitment of two more teachers each year. Land
has been bought in the area and mostly temporary structures are now in
place with plans to slowly convert them into permanent structures with
your help. Your generous support is needed to continue and expand this
work. For more information, please visit www.charityalliance.in where
details of our work as well as annual audited reports are found.
Charity Alliance is very conscious to use every
penny of your donation to help some of those who are really poor in our
society and cannot rise without the help of an extended hand. Thanks to
the administrative and media support by The Milli Gazette which
bears the administrative and financial needs of the central office in
Delhi, almost every paisa of your support reaches the beneficiaries.
Once again, I thank you very much for your kind
support to our mission to take care of some of the most disadvantaged
sections of our community through extending food and medical relief and
offering educational opportunities to children who otherwise would not go
to a school. Your continued support is very much appreciated and needed in
order to continue and broaden the sphere of this effort. Your donations to
us are Tax exempted u/s 80G.
With warm regards,
Dr Zafarul-Islam Khan
